The Sentai Summary: Boonboomger Episode 16 Disrupts the Flow With BunViolet Power - The Toku Source (2024)

Episode 16 of Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger debuts the sixth Boonboomger as BunViolet brings chaos in a burst of speed. The latest episode of the 48^th Sentai series mixes in crazy backstory and the stunning premiere of Sakito Homura and Byun Diesel.

Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger has revealed the premiere of the sixth hero for the 48^th Super Sentai series. Yu Miyazawa was revealed to be portraying the new addition, Sakito Homura, along with Natsuki Hanae voicing his partner, Byun Diesel. The features include a Formula 1 theme with the changer in the form of controller. Bandai Mania recently revealed the toysline relating to new recurring cast member, including the Boonboom Controller and the new purple mecha debuting soon.

Featuring an evil sword and the Sword Grumer, the latest instalment brings greater power with Mach speed. As dust seems to settle, a new warrior demonstrates overwhelming power while also supplying expected developments. With a connection to both good and bad, a spanner is thrown just as the team begins driving with confidence.

Another Racer Added for a Twist with Unmatched Speed

The 16^th episode of the 48^th Sentai has introduced BunViolet, featuring his introduction to the team and his first transformation. The episode laid out his entry with a bunch of story quirks, while also delivering shocks to the audience. The episode also featured the first fight of the sixth hero, Sword Grumer, and finally hosts interactions between Cannonborg and the squad. Containing big pieces to the puzzle, the episode adds a crazy blast of drama as big information is revealed.

BunViolet is Rushing Out With Hype

Sakito was given a lot of moments to truly add to the anticipated reveal as BunViolet. The sudden dash on the Highway Space created the first instance that showed how he could outmatch the entire team in each moment he appeared on screen. His quirks also matched the other members, allowing him to appear as a true rival in every sense. This included the delivery he makes before he features his unique desire for chaos.

The sword delivered to Cannonborg was a brilliant mix of concept and event as it is a Hashiryan version of the Boonboom Classic Sword.However, it wasn’t anticipated that he would fight the Kurumajyu after delivering the cause of its existence. BunViolet had a fantastic transformation sequence in real time, which added to his debut flare. The entire episode felt like a gradual acceleration to this moment, but it was logical that he would want to meet the inventor of his Changer.

Tension Accelerates The Debut

Yu Miyazawa was given a fantastic spotlight as Sakito featured clashes with the cast individually. It was great that the character was portrayed with a great light swagger, which meshed in to the series perfectly.Adding bigger tension, it gave the episode a fantastic buildup, while also allowing the new character to quickly exchange moments with all five members. This includes a mix of casual and potent scenes, such as a damsel moment with Mira and stealing Genba’s acquisition job. However, the most potent included the exchange with Taiga and Ishiro, since he had a great build up to Taiga, but Ishiro’s evasion attempt showed how dangerous he could be.

The biggest tension was the reveal that Sakito was greatly linked to Bundorio, since he created the Boonboom Controller. It was a big reveal that the inventor threw away the speed empowering device, while also featuring a person that could use it. This was given an even bigger reveal to the fact that Byun Diesel was his rival in the Big Bang Grand Prix. This created a brilliant suspense for the next episode, with greater anticipation for the start of a new storyline.

Making Contact Among Cast Members

The only thing missing is bigger tension among the new member with the main cast, since there is currently more confusion featured than hate or concern. The exchange between Yu Miyazawa and Haruhi Iuchi was the only example of correspondence for a new dynamic. There was a slice of drama added to the standoff that sees many similarities between both characters.

However, this episode also finally featured Cannonborg interacting with the heroes despite his long duration in the series so far. Although a brief introduction, it allowed for Boonboomger members to catch up with the perception of the audience. It was interesting to see this reveal, but it felt like it was lacking some dirt. However, it was revealed that the Sword Grumer was defeated to sharpen and restore the sword, showcasing his genius foresight.

Epic Gamer Action As Arrows Fly

Along with his burst of speed, BunViolet featured in an impactful fight againstthe Sword Grumer. Compared to the others, the purple hero has a lot of flashy visuals with the bow mode of the Boomboom Controller. His speed perfectly matched his motif and the drop kick was an unexpected addition to his style.The energy arrow combat created a visual spectacle that added to the clash. The gatling attack even stood out more than the finisher, appearing to be a lot more potent in terms of fire power.

It will be interesting to see if he has bigger tricks and combinations using the Boonboom Controller. The use of a gaming theme also heightens the unpredictability of his powers, highlighting there could be more bigger moves he could active. The entire episode was a great way to illustrate his overwhelming power, but the story gave a nice balance. The request to meet Bundorio was a great way to end the episode, providing a satisfying stop to the Mach Speed capabilities that almost seemed limitless.
