What’s up toy fans? We got another SODO Sunday for you today! This time we get a new Premium SHODO set; haven’t had one of those in a while! We also get a deeper look at SODO Kamen Rider Gotchard #6. Plenty of content to sink your teeth and finances into. Let’s not delay and get right into it…
SHODO-XX Kuuga Ultimate & N-Daguva-Zeba set
Well, we knew we were at the end of Kuuga regarding the retail SHODO-XX releases; I thought they would have added his final form to the next wave, but I guess not. Instead, the Bandai Candy team are going down the limited premium route with this release. The set will come with only two figures: Kamen Rider Kuuga Ultimate Form and N-Daguva-Zeba. The main antagonist of the season!
Here’s our boy in all his ultimate majestic glory! The details of the gold lining are very well produced here!
He also comes with an alternative ‘black eyes’ headpiece to recreate his ‘appearance dominated by hatred’. He doesn’t look like a Rider you want to trifle with here!
Of course, what’s a Kuuga figure without his trademark thumbs up hand! Every Kuuga SHODO so far has come with one and Ultimate Form is no different!
All the hand pieces from previously released SHODO Kuuga’s are here as well! Even some weapon holding hands to utilise previous Kuuga release accessories!
Now onto the big bad himself: N-Daguva-Zeba! The ruler of the Gurongi makes his SHODO debut.
He has a nice white and gold to contrast against Kuuga’s black and gold drip. It kind of creates this nice Ying/Yang effect when both are placed beside each other.
The hair piece and back outfit details are amazingly reproduced here! It’s fair to assume that he will also come with some hand options, albeit not as much as Kuuga. For some reason, the Bandai Candy team haven’t shared an image of his hand options.

SODO Kamen Rider Gotchard #6
With the latest Gotchard SODO dropping this week, it’s time to take another look at what’s in store for fans!
Lets start with this hodgepodge of a form: Kamen Rider Star Gotchard! A special enhanced form that made it’s debut in the winter movie “Kamen Rider the Winter Movie: Gotchard & Geats Strongest Chemy ★ Gotcha Great Operation”
The colourful design has been faithfully reproduced through a combination of metallic paint and many (many) stickers!
Weapons are included here! The oddest choice here is creating a sticker for an entire muffler piece, but such is the way at times for SODO. It’s nothing new to some of us candy toy veterans.
Ignite your passion for the show with the next addition: Kamen Rider Fire Gotchard! Mostly reusing the basic Steam Hopper mould, it brings the addition of flame patterns and the Gotcharigniter!
This one looks super cool to pose! You can even give him the Exgotchalibur from the previous figure for more play or display options.
If you own Kamen Rider Gotchard Upper Skateboard from a previous SODO wave, then you can kick it up a notch and utilise flame stickers included with the Gotcharigniter to create Kamen Rider Fire Gotchard Upper Skateboard!!!
You won’t be ‘dreading’ this next addition….
It’s the ‘LED Rider of the year’ Kamen Rider Dread Type Zero! Here to intimidate and strike fear into the other Gotchard riders…
His complicated back patterns have been faithfully recreated and he has a nice mix of metallic colour and black matte paint!
Be sure to get your hands on SODO Kamen Rider Gotchard #7 in August if you want to recreate these forms for Dread! Also remember, if you want to display all of these forms together, you’re going to need a few more Dread Type Zero SODO figures to do so.
The previously shown figures also contain extra accessories to create these forms for Kamen Rider Valvarad: Angelcopter and Orochishovel custom. Note that there is no actual Kamen Rider Valvarad figure in this set as he released in a previous SODO wave.
Next up is legitimately one of the coolest…or rather ‘hottest’ forms of the season: Kamen Rider Fire Gotchard Daybreak Steam Hopper!
He debuts with a very nice orange colour scheme, as well as an optional cape! Included with him are also the Gotchatornado and the Gotcharge Gun! Replace the cape with a muffler and change the driver piece to recreate a more standard Kamen Rider Gotchard Daybreak Steam Hopper!
The last two boxes of this SODO wave also go to one of my favourite designs: Kamen Rider Doom Geats! Making his appearance in the V-Cinema Next film “Kamen Rider Geats: Jyamato Awakening” with a form similar to both Kamen Rider Geats IX and and Kamen Rider XGeats; now with a lovely gold and black colour scheme!
He also gets his golden Geats Buster QB9 included with him! The Bandai Candy team have also quickly shown us a brief look there of Kamen Rider Buffa Plosion Rage! The team will be releasing more details around him at a later date though. For now, enjoy the image!
Don’t forget, Doom Geats will be releasing with some extra parts to make Kamen Rider Geats Boost Form Mark III.

It’s definitely one of the most heavily-packed waves! A lot of bang for your buck, and also…oh…what’s this?
