On 04/27/2024 at about 2019 hours, the Alaska State Troopers contactedand arrested Anthony Cox, age 31 of Ketchikan in the 100 Block of Mountain Ash Heights. Cox was found to have an outstanding arrest warrant issued by the Ketchikan Courthouse from the original charge of Misconduct Involving Controlled Substance in the 2nd Degree. Cox was transported and remanded to Ketchikan Correctional Center with bail set at $10,000.

On 4/28/2024 at approximately 1500 hours AST made contact with Edward Danner Age 27, of Wasilla at his residence in Wasilla, AK. MATCOM/NCIC confirmed Edward had an active warrant reference 3PA-24-00781CR for Burglary in the 2nd Degree, Criminal Trespass in the 1st Degree and Theft in the 4th Degree with a $500.00 Bail. Edward was arrested on his warrant and transported to Matsu Pre-Trial where he was held on a $500.00 Bail for his warrant.

On 4/28/24 at approximately 1608 hours Palmer AST responded to an address on Boulder Dr in Wasilla for report of an assault. Investigation revealed Timothy Wood, age 29 of Wasilla, had recklessly caused injury to a household member on 4/26/24 and damaged shared property on 4/28. Wood was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine. Wood was arrested without incident and transported to Mat-Su pretrial where he was remanded on charges of DV Assault 4th Degree, DV Criminal Mischief 5th Degree and Misconduct Involving Controlled Substances 5th Degree. Wood was held without bail.

On 4/27/24 at approximately 2340 hours, the Alaska State Troopers in Wasilla observed a vehicle speeding near the Parks Highway and Stanley Road. Troopers contacted the driver, who was identified as 29-year-old Cherokee Burnett of California. Investigation revealed Cherokee was operating her vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Troopers arrested her and remanded her at Mat-Su Pre-Trial where she was held on $500 bail.

On 4/28/24 at approximately 1338 hours Palmer AST responded to a report of shoplifting at 3 Bears on KGB. Investigation revealed Charles Knefelkamp, age 37 of Wasilla, had attempted to leave the store without paying for 2 items totaling $45.92. Charles was issued a misdemeanor citation for Theft 4th Degree and released from scene.

During the course of the investigation, Joshua Craft, age 37, was found to be in violation of his conditions of release. Craft was arrested and remanded to Fairbanks Correctional Center where he was held without bail.

On 04/27/2024 at approximately 2132 hours, the Alaska State Troopers responded to Justa Store, located at 446 Old Chena Pump Road to receive a report of a domestic violence criminal mischief. Subsequent investigation revealed that Shaelene Akaran, 29 of Fairbanks, committed the offense of criminal mischief when following an argument, Shaelene threw a caribou antler at her boyfriend’s car resulting in damage to the hood and windshield. Shaelene was placed under arrest and remanded at the Fairbanks Correctional Center for one count of criminal mischief in the fourth degree.

On April 28, 2024, at approximately 0050 hours, Fairbanks AST conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for crossing the fog line multiple times. The driver, Nicholas Kowalski, displayed signs of intoxication. Nicholas was arrested for DUI and provided a breath sample of .104. Nicholas was remanded to FCC without incident.

On 04/19/24 Alaska State Troopers (AST) in Galena received a report that the Ruby Commercial Company was burglarized. Investigation revealed Derek Peters (age 21 of Ruby) broke into the Ruby Commercial Company and stole over $2,000 worth of alcohol and cigarettes. On 04/24/24 Derek was arrested and transported to Fairbanks Correctional Center (FCC) where he was remanded on one count each of Burglary in the 2nd Degree, Theft in the 2nd Degree, Criminal Mischief in the 3rd Degree, and Criminal Trespass in the 2nd Degree.

On 4/28/2024 at approximately 1732 AST received multiple reports of a serious motor vehicle collision at University and Wieldner Ave in Fairbanks. An investigation revealed Cody Hart-Stone, age 27 of Fairbanks, was intoxicated while operating his motor vehicle which was the contributing cause of the crash. The crash caused non-life-threatening injuries to 3 people. Cody was arrested and charged with DUI and Assault 3 x3.

On April 28th 2024, at about 2300, Troopers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Lakeview Terrace and East St. Upon further investigation, it was found that an occupant in the vehicle, Michael Maillelle, had a 250 dollar bail bench warrant for his arrest. Michael was remanded to FCC without incident.

On 04/28/2024, Kodiak AWT contacted Aaron Richardson, age 31 of Anchorage, while he was sport fishing in Kodiak. Investigation revealed that Richardson was sport fishing without a sport fishing license. Garner was issued a citation for Sport Fishing Without a Sport Fishing License with a fine of $220.
